Instructional Designer/Senior Technical Writer
British Petroleum: 2009 – 2010
Collaborated with a team of executives, SMEs, and field staff to analyze performance and knowledge gaps. The team then designed, developed, and implemented a blended-learning curriculum, which was referred to as the ADP (Advance Development Program). Our team developed and implemented an EPSS (Electronic Performance Support System) to support the ADP, and the project involved the use of Moodle as the LMS and ADDIE as the development methodology.

Managed the design, development, and production of technical publications, and online documentation. I worked with SMEs to produce procedures, technical references, online help, installation guides, and release notes. The online help I produced for this product line won the Best of Show award in the STC Houston Techcomm Competition. In addition, this award-winning documentation was highlighted in the marketing materials used by the sales department and in client presentations to help differentiate Aspen PIMS from competing products.

The SAP implementation projects I supported have saved companies millions of dollars through workflow alignment and transaction efficiency.
